Four Wesleyan Golfers Named All-America Scholars

The 16th ranked NC Wesleyan Men's Golf team had four golfers from the 2019 team named as Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars for Division III that were announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America on Wednesday.

Senior all-conference members Grady Anderson and Mariano Silvestri, as well as juniors Luke Thornton and Dustin Wood were named to the All-America Scholar team.

NC Wesleyan was one of six USA South schools to have an All-America Scholar in 2019, but led all teams with four scholars. The Bishop men are coming off a season where they finished third in the conference and earned a berth to the national tournament with their impressive #16 ranking. They then went on to make the championship cut in the National Tournament and finish in the top 14 in the nation.
