The USA South Athletic Conference's men's golf coaches have released their 2020 preseason poll. Head coaches do not vote for their own teams in the balloting.

NC Wesleyan, who has gone to the NCAA Championships the past 2 seasons, was selected to finish 7th out of 12 teams in the preseason conference poll.

Huntingdon College, who is ranked 2nd nationally, was chosen to win the conference with rival Methodist picked 2nd.

The Bishops are coming off a 3rd place conference tournament finish last season and a 14th place finish at the National Tournament, the best finish in school history. Wesleyan also placed 2nd at each of their home tournaments this past fall.

The 2020 USA South Men's Golf Tournament will be played April 23-25 at the Benvenue Country Club in Rocky Mount, North Carolina as a part of the USA South Spring Sports Festival, hosted by the City of Rocky Mount. The top-nine Conference teams according to the April 15th Golfstat rankings will advance to the tournament. Additionally, the top-three golfers, according to the April 15th Golfstat rankings, from teams which did not qualify for the tournament shall compete as individuals. Pfeiffer athletes, as individuals, are eligible for this participation should any qualify.
