USA SOUTH Men's Golf Rookie of the Week
Matt Coltren, N.C. Wesleyan - The freshman from Mount Olive, North Carolina finished in a tie for eighth out of 43 golfers at N.C. Wesleyan's Don Scalf Memorial Tournament earlier this week by shooting a six-over par 150 in the event held at Belmont Lake GC in Rocky Mount.
In the two-round tournament, Coltren opened with a one-over par 73 and finished with a five-over par 77 as he helped the Bishops finish 2nd overall in the 9-team field.
This was the first tournament of the year for the Battling Bishops
