The 2019 USA South Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Tournament concluded on Saturday, November 9 as N.C. Wesleyan and Covenant played to a 1-1 double-overtime draw with the championship needing penalty kicks to be decided.
In the penalty kick shootout, N.C. Wesleyan captured the program's fourth tournament title and 2nd in the past 3 years with a 4-2 decision. The Bishops, 16-2-2, will now head to Lexington, VA to battle 11th ranked Washington & Lee on Saturday at 11 AM. The USA South has produced a video highlighting the tournament and its champions while also honoring this year's individual award winners including tournament MVP, NCWC goalkeeper Tobias Borzel and Conference Player of the Year Baboucarr Njie.
