Softball Picked to Finish 3rd in USA SOUTH East Division

The USA South Athletic Conference's softball coaches have released their 2021 pre-conference polls. Each divisional poll only includes votes from coaches within that particular division-only. Head coaches do not vote for their own teams in the balloting.

The 2021 USA South Softball Tournament will take place on campus sites. Due to the ramifications stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic, the tournament field will be reduced to four total teams. The top-two teams from each division following regular season play will advance to the tournament.

The NC Wesleyan Softball team, led by coach John Brackett, was picked to finish 3rd in the USA South East Division Coaches Poll that was released on Wednesday. The 3-1 Lady Bishops received 37 voting points finishing behind Averett and preseason favorite Pfeiffer.

The Bishops are currently playing 4th ranked CNU today on the road in a doubleheader.
