The Lady Bishops then fell 8-6 in their night match vs. Carnegie Mellon University.

In the 8-7 win, Wesleyan used a grand slam from sophomore 1B Abby Todd and two RBI singles from freshman 3B Molly Alejandrino and senior CF Logan Winstead in a big 6-run first inning. Alejandrino then added a solo home run in the 2nd inning before a sacrifice fly from freshman 2B Skyler Walker made it 8-0 in the 4th inning. Alejandrino also smacked a double while Winstead roped a triple in the game as well as the two combined for 6 hits.

Oberlin then scored 3 runs in the 4th off freshman starter Emily Humphrey before adding a three-run homer and a RBI single in the 6th off Humphrey to get within 8-7. However, freshman Laila Holloway then shut down Oberlin in the 7th recording her first save. Humphrey allowed just 2 earned runs over 6 innings on 8 hits.

In the 8-2 loss to Kean, Kean got out to a 3-0 lead early on a home run before Skyler Walker hit a solo home run for the Bishops in the 4th. Kean then used the loing ball again in the 5th inning to lead 6-1 before another Bishop solo home run from Alejandrino in the 6th made it 6-2.

Freshman starter Emily Osteguin (0-1) threw 6 innings allowing 8 runs (3 earned) on 12 hits, 3 walks and 2 strikeouts.

Finally, in their evening match with CMU (2-1), Wesleyan dropped a close one 8-6. NCWC got out to a 2-0 lead in the first on a Mereidth Mize single, throwing error and wild pitch before CMU tied it after one inning off starter Laila Holloway. The Bishops then made it 4-2 in the 2nd on a Alejandrino two-run single.

The game would then be tied again in the 4th before Mize tripled in Winstead and then scored herself on a wild pitch to take a 6-4 lead after four innings. However, CMU would then rally with 4 runs and 3 walks in the 5th off reliever Osteguin to take an 8-6 lead. Reliever Avery Jordan finished the game scoreless but the Bishops could not rally.
