The USA South Athletic Conference's women's tennis coaches have released their 2020 preseason polls. Each divisional preseason poll only includes votes from coaches within that particular division-only. Head coaches do not vote for their own teams in the balloting.
The Lady Bishop tennis team was selected to finish first by the coaches while Piedmont College (Ga.) was picked first in the West Division. NC Wesleyan is coming off a 17-5 season that saw them go 7-0 in conference play and advance to the second round of the national tournament after winning the USA South Tournament. Wesleyan will begin their 2020 season when they host Div. II Shaw University on Monday, Feb. 10 at 1:00 Pm.
The 2020 USA South Women's Tennis Tournament will feature the top-six seeded teams from each division. First round contests will be hosted by the third and fourth seeded divisional teams on Tuesday, April 21. The two top seeds from each division as well as the winners of the first round matches will advance to Rocky Mount, North Carolina as a part of the USA South Spring Sports Festival, hosted by the City of Rocky Mount. Those matches will be played April 24-26 at the NC Wesleyan's Slick Family Tennis Facility.
