Women's Tennis' Mariotti Named USA South Rookie of the Week

Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week

Elisa Mariotti, N.C. Wesleyan - The freshman from Rome, Italy posted a 3-0 record at the number-three singles position and a 2-1 mark at the top doubles spot last week for the Battling Bishops.

In singles, the victories came over opponents from Southern Virginia, Mary Baldwin and 15th-ranked Mary Washington.

In doubles, Mariotti teamed with Stefanie Wilske to earn wins over Southern Virginia and Mary Baldwin.
