In a dominant display of tennis, the NC Wesleyan women's tennis team secured their first win of the year with a sweeping victory over Mary Baldwin in the conference opener. The Lady Bishops won every match in straight sets, recording a 9-0 victory
Wesleyan was in control from the start, winning all of their singles matches in straight sets, with only one set dropped in the process. Kristal Dule was particularly impressive, winning her singles match 6-0 and then following it up with a doubles victory alongside Andrea Elias
Miranda was also in fine form, winning her singles match 6-0 6-0, and contributing to the doubles victory with Dule. Overall, it was a dominant display from the ladies, who will take great confidence from this victory as they look to build on this impressive performance as they face Brevard on Sunday.
