Jackets Snap Bishop Win Streak with 3-0 Win

Ashland, Va. - Randolph-Macon ended North Carolina Wesleyan's 10-match winning streak on Tuesday night, downing the Bishops by a 3-0 score in non-conference volleyball action. Set scores were 25-16, 25-18 and 25-23.

Senior Meredith Smith and junior Taylor Johnson managed seven kills apiece, but it would not been enough to counteract 11 Bishop receiving errors. Shana Ayers added 12 digs and Kristi Lucas 17 assists for NCWC, which now stands at 14-7 overall.

Wesleyan will now enjoy a brief hiatus for Fall Break before returning to action next Wednesday night at home. The Bishops will be hosting USA South foe Meredith College at 7:00pm on Dig Pink night in Everett Gym. We encourage fans to wear pink attire in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
