RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC Wesleyan College Volleyball team dropped their rematch with William Peace on Monday falling in 4 tough sets as Peace got their revenge on the Bishops from NCWC's win earlier this season.

Wesleyan took the first set from the Pacers 25-22 on 15 kills while hitting .267. Peace then controlled the second set 25-16 on 15 kills. The third set basically could have went either way and went down to the wire as the Bishops looked to go up 2-1 as they led 23-22 late in the set, but fell 25-23 as Peace got the upper hand in the match. The Pacers would go on to clinch the match with a decisive 25-18 win in set four.

Peace improves to 15-7 overall and 5-4 in the conference with the win while the Lady Bishops fall to 9-14 overall and 4-5 in the conference with the defeat.

Sophomore Middle Lauren Weaver led the Bishops with 9 kills and only one error while hitting a team-best .533 with 4 total blocks. Fellow middle, senior Hannah Thrasher also played well tallying 7 kills with an ace and a block while sophomore RS Sydney Barnwell also recorded 8 kills with 2 blocks and 2 digs.
