ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. - The NC Wesleyan College Volleyball program and head coach Vicky Gentile have released their 2020 schedule for the fall and have also put out a fun video that they did during the coronavirus quarantine.

The Battling Lady Bishops, who return 16 ladies from last year's squad, will host seven home dates this season, including four tri-matches. The Ladies will first host non-conference foes Mid-Atlantic Christian and Randolph College on Sept. 1 at 5 PM to open their season. That Saturday they will then host Johnson University (FL) and Piedmont Int'l at 1:00 before going on the road for the next three weeks.

The Bishops will begin their road matches by heading to Regent University on Sept. 9 in Virginia Beach before going to Roanoke that weekend (Sept. 11-12) for the Maroon Classic. After a tri-match in Elizabeth City the following week, Wesleyan will then head to Georgia the weekend of Sept. 18-19 to see them face Piedmont College (Ga.) and Wesleyan College (Ga.). After a trip to Charlotte to face Johnson & Wales on the 24th, Wesleyan will finish out September with a conference tri-match at Averett (Va.) before finally returning home to host William Peace University on Sept. 29 at 7 PM.

NCWC will then head back on the road on Oct. 2-3 to Winston-Salem to play Piedmont International, Salem, and Greensboro College before heading to Raleigh on the 6th to face Meredith. Wesleyan then comes home again on Oct. 10 and Oct. 14. They first host Mary Baldwin and Pfeiffer in a conference tri-match beginning at Noon on the 10th before a non-conference home tilt with VA Wesleyan on the 14th. That Friday, Wesleyan will head to Fayetteville to battle rivals Methodist and Averett in another tri-match before making the short trek to Raleigh to face Peace on October 20.

Wesleyan will then finish out their home schedule by hosting their second conference tri-match at Noon on Oct. 24 for Senior Day vs. Salem and Greensboro before hosting rival Meredith College on October 27. The Bishops will complete their regular season with a game at Randolph College (Va.) on the 30th before closing out their conference slate on Halloween in a tri-match at Mary Baldwin University (Va.).

The first round of the conference tournament will then begin on Nov. 3.
