NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The NC Wesleyan College men's tennis team opened their fall season this past weekend competing in the CNU Invitational where they brought home numerous titles. 

Bringing home titles were the doubles pairing of seniors JP Vallejo and Jhonny Acosta in the Top Doubles Division as they rolled through each of their three opponents. Junior Augusto Roca and freshman partner Nicolo Iacoboni also won two matches in the Second Doubles Division. 

Then in top singles competition, taking home third place was Acosta as he came back to win two consolation bouts after dropping his quarterfinal. Freshman Diego Segovia then placed 2nd in his same top Singles division.

Sophomore John Falke and Vallejo then competed in the Flight B Singles Division with Vallejo coming in third and Falke in 6th. Sophomore Tshepo Mosarwa and Roca also each won their respective brackets in the Flight C Division of Singles.
