Rocky Mount, N.C. - Junior Ashley Marks scored a pair of goals and collected three ground balls as North Carolina Wesleyan wrapped up its 2012 lacrosse season versus Methodist University on Wednesday afternoon at Scalf Field. The Bishops dropped the contest by a 16-4 score and said farewell to seniors Lakwanua Hicks, Courtney Jamieson and Sacejewia Evans, who played the final games of their careers.

The contest was interupted by a 45-minute lightning delay midway the first half, but it didn't stop the Monarchs from eventually taking an 11-0 lead into the break.

In the second half, the Bishops (0-10, 0-7 USA South) played MU to a 5-4 tally with two goals by Marks, one free position score by freshman Krissy Brannon and one goal by Jamieson. Freshman keeper Casey Burd finished with nine saves on the day.

For Methodist (5-6, 3-4 USA South), Jasmine Stephens had five goals and three assists.
