Jamieson Named USA South Honorable Mention

Fayetteville, N.C. - The USA South has announced its postseason awards for lacrosse with a total of 44 student-athletes being named to the 2012 All-Conference teams. North Carolina Wesleyan had a pair of players earn recognition, led by senior Courtney Jamieson's Honorable Mention in the midfield.

Jamieson scored four goals for Wesleyan this season, recording a 61.5 shot-on-goal percentage in the process. She also tallied eight caused turnovers and collected 16 groundballs.

Jamieson was joined on the All-Conference team by freshman Chelsea Colucci, who was NCWC's representative on the All-Sportsmanship team.

Elsewhere around the league, Christopher Newport University's Ashton Marshall earned the Player of the Year award while her coach, Carolyn Raveia, was named Coach of the Year. Additionally, Shenandoah University's Liz Bereit collected Rookie of the Year accolades.
