The USA South Conference has named junior midfielder Ali Cucinotta as the Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week on Monday for the games of Feb. 10-16.

Ali Cucinotta, N.C. Wesleyan - The Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania junior forward accumulated 20 points on 16 goals and four assists to go along with 19 draw controls, eight ground balls and six caused turnovers last week as the Battling Bishops posted a 1-1 record.
In a 15-11 win over Sweet Briar, Cucinotta scored five times with three assists, nine draw controls, five ground balls and four caused turnovers. In a 19-16 loss to Randolph, Cucinotta totaled a new career-high of 11 goals with one assist, 10 draw control wins, three ground balls and two caused turnovers.
Cucinotta has led Wesleyan in goals in each of the past 2 seasons and is the school all-time leader in goals and ground balls.
She next leads the Lady Bishops (1-1) into action at home on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 4 PM vs. Guilford.
