Lacrosse Picked to Finish 4th in East

The USA South Athletic Conference's women's lacrosse coaches have released their 2021 pre-conference polls. Each divisional poll only includes votes from coaches within that particular division-only. Head coaches do not vote for their own teams in the balloting.

The 2021 USA South Women's Lacrosse Tournament will take place on campus sites. Due to the ramifications stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic, the tournament field will be reduced to four total teams. The top-two teams from each division following regular season play will advance to the tournament.

The Lady Bishop lacrosse team was chosen to finish 4th in the USA South's East Division Poll that was released on Thursday morning. Defending Champion Meredith College was chosen first in the East followed by Averett and Methodist. The 2-3 Bishops will next be in action when they host the Angels of Meredith next Friday, March 19 at 4 pm from Scalf Field.
