ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. - Rocky Mount's local tv station, WHIG-TV, concluded another installment of their weekly live morning sports show featuring NCWC sports that airs every Tuesday Morning from 8:00 AM-8:20 on WHIG-TV. The show is presented by Don Bulluck Chevrolet.
This week featured WHIG's Wayne Holloman interviewing NC Wesleyan's head men's basketball coach, John Thompson and the men's senior class of 2019. The seniors featured on the show from left to right include: guard Justin Tankelewicz, guard Jared Joyner, guard Johnathan Pickler, forward Chris Sause, forward Robert Wilson, and point guard Chris Braswell.
The men previewed their USA South Tournament opener and reflected on their past four years together at Wesleyan. Unfortunately, the men dropped a hard-fought nail-biter to Averett University 82-78 Tuesday evening to finish their season at 19-7.
