The USA South Conference has released their Men's Basketball all-conference teams for the 2018-19 season on Wednesday. Three Bishops were named to the teams and they include junior center A.J. Frye, senior forward Robert Wilson and senior point guard Chris Braswell.
Frye, who led the Bishops with 18 points/game and 8 rebounds/game, was named to the First Team. Wilson, who averaged 14.7 points/game and 6.6 rebounds was named to the Second Team while Braswell, who averaged nearly 13 points and had 3.7 assists/game was named to the Third Team.
It was also announced that Senior forward Chris Sause was named to the Conference All-Sportsmanship team as well.
NC Wesleyan finished the season as East Division Champs with a 19-7 record, their most wins since 2016, but suffered a tough luck 4-point loss to Averett in the Conference Tournament Quarterfinals.
