GREENSBORO, N.C. - The NC Wesleyan College men's basketball team fell 75-68 to Mary Hardin-Baylor University (Tx.) in a neutral site matchup at the Guilford College Classic on Saturday evening.

UMHB (2-1) got out to a fast start leading 21-10 early on and shooting 42 percent in the first half to take a 38-25 halftime lead. They held the Bishops to just 35 percent shooting and 27 percent from three in the first half.

Wesleyan would then go on a run in the second half trimming UMHB's lead down to four at 46-42 by going on a 17-8 run to begin the half forcing a timeout.

However, they could get no closer the rest of the way as they could only get within five a few times, even as the Bishops shot 50 percent in the second half.
