ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. - The NC Wesleyan College men's basketball team is ranked 15h in the country in the latest D3hoops Top 15 Poll that was released on Monday.

The Bishops, coming off a 3-0 week where they topped Averett and Peace University, saw senior Conference Player of the Week Damon McDowell score 38 and 33 points over the weekend in the sweep over Peace. He also scored the game-winner in the one-point win over Peace on Sunday.

Wesleyan, now 8-3 overall and 5-0 in the USA South, received 43 voting points in the national poll. All 3 of Wesleyan's losses are to D-1 teams. Wesleyan returns to action on Friday at Pfeiffer University before returning home on Sunday at 2 PM to host Pfeiffer.

Because of the smaller number of teams playing during the COVID-19 pandemic, this poll is limited to 15 teams. Nobody beyond 15 is considered ranked. Only teams which have played a game are eligible to receive votes. With the changing nature of the pandemic, the number of voters and teams voted for may change from week to week.
