ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. - The NC Wesleyan College men's basketball team muscled their way past an undersized squad in Va. Univ. of Lynchburg by a score of 68-55 on Saturday afternoon in the final game of the 33rd annual Roger Taylor Invitational.

Earlier Saturday, Greensboro College compoleted their RTI stay at 2-0 by routing visiting St. Andrews 116-73. Greensboro College had two players named to the All-Tournament team in guard Greyson Collins and forward Matthew Brown while VUL had guard Dominique Williams named to the team. The Bishops then had a trio of players named to the team in senior wing Damon McDowell and junior forwards in Isaiah Lewis and Sal-Bey Young.

Wesleyan got out to a 37-24 halftime lead shooting 36 percent but struggled from three making just three treys. They, however, held the Dragons (0-5) to zero threes in the half. Both teams then went cold from the floor midway through the second half before Lewis got hot late making a few baskets in a row to give the Bishops some breathing room for the 13-point win.

Lewis led the way with a game-high of 19 points and 9 rebounds with 2 blocks to help his case for all-tournament. McDowell plaeyd well even as he struggled from three-point range finishing with 12 points and 3 rebounds with 2 assists and 2 steals.
