Rocky Mount, N.C. - On Think Pink Day at Scalf Field, the North Carolina Wesleyan women's soccer team picked up a 4-2 non-conference victory over Hollins University. Four different Bishops tallied goals in the win, which leaves NCWC with a 5-6-1 overall record.

Wesleyan opened up a quick 2-0 lead with a pair of scores inside the first 15 minutes. Chelsea Laurens got things started with a 35-yard blast at the 9-minute mark, while Rebecca Staylor scored the second goal of the match just minutes later off a defender deflection in the box.

Hollins cut the Bishop lead in half with an unassisted goal by Becca Logan in the 17th minute, but Staylor countered at 25:25 by pushing the ball up the left side and delivering a perfect cross to Johanna Wallinder, who found the back of the net with the eventual gamewinner.

The two teams traded goals in the second half over a span of 36 seconds.  Logan again did the damage for Hollins, and freshmen Sarah Olsowski scored the Bishops' goal after taking a feed from Nicole Liette.

NCWC out-shot Hollins 23-10 on the match. HU keeper Brandi Chesni made six saves on the day, while freshmen goalies Vanessa Batchelor and Haley Hopkins each had a pair of stops for the Bishops.

Wesleyan returns to USA South play this weekend when the Bishops host Piedmont (noon) and LaGrange (1:00) on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. Sunday's match versus LC will serve as Senior Day and Parent's Day.
