Jacket Women Post 2-0 Victory over Bishops at Scalf Field

Rocky Mount, N.C. - Randolph-Macon posted a 2-0 shutout of the Battling Bishop women's soccer team on Saturday afternoon at Scalf Field. The Yellow Jackets netted one goal in each half to seal the win.

RMC's Jenna Burns scored the eventual gamewinner in the 20th minute, while teammate Meghan O'Neal added an insurance goal just after the break. Wesleyan narrowly missed a score in the 78th minute when junior Logan Bill's shot from 20 yards hit the post.

The Jackets (1-1) out-shot the Bishops 15-4 on the day. Wesleyan keepers Vanessa Batchelor and Ashley Major split time in goal, each recording a trio of saves.

NCWC (1-1) travels to Randolph College on Wednesday for a 6:00pm match-up with the Wildcats.
