Lady Bishops Fall 2-0 at Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. - The NC Wesleyan College women's soccer team fell 2-0 at Greensboro College on Saturday in their final conference game of the season.

The Lady Bishops finish 3-5 in the East Division while GC improves to 6-1-1. Wesleyan is 5-10 overall and will finish their regular season with a non-league game vs. Regent University (Va.) on Monday at home at 3 PM.

Greensboro (12-4-1) got on the board in the 11th minute, but only had a 2-0 advantage in shots heading into halftime. GC then added an insurance goal in the 52nd minute while holding the Bishops to just two shots in the second half from Sarah Cook and Naniiya Brown.

Junior goalkeeper Alicia Jacobs made 2 saves on 4 shots on goal.

6th seeded Wesleyan will also begin play in the conference tournament on the road Wednesday as well. Time and opponent TBA but looks to be like a road game at 3rd seed Meredith College.
