Women's Soccer Announces 2020 Schedule/Quarantine Video

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. - The NC Wesleyan College Women's Soccer program and head coach Beverly Biancur have announced their 2020 schedule for the fall and have also put out a fun video involving toilet paper that they did during the quarantine.

The Battling Lady Bishops, coming off a 6-11-1 season and 3-5 record in conference play, will host seven home games, including the NCWC classic on Sept. 12-13 by hosting three teams. The Ladies will host Stockton University (N.J.) on that Saturday at 1:00 before turning around to host USA South Western foe, Brevard College on Sunday. Guilford College will also be attending the tournament but will not play the Bishops until traveling back to Rocky Mount on Sept. 23 at 4 PM.

Wesleyan, however, begins their season with four consecutive road games to Virginia and Greensboro. They first face Shenandoah (Va.) on Sept. 1 and then play Southern Virginia and NAIA foe Allen University on Sept. 5-6 in Greensboro, at Guilford College. The Bishops will also head to Regent University on Sept. 9 in Virginia Beach as well.

The weekend of Sept. 18-19 will see them head to Winston-Salem to face Piedmont International and Tennessee to battle Maryville. After hosting Guilford on the 23rd, Wesleyan will finish out September with consecutive conference road games at Averett (Va.) and Salem College (N.C.).

The Bishops will then return home in early October for three consecutive home games to begin conference play by hosting William Peace and Mary Baldwin back-to-back on Oct. 3-4 and Greensboro College on the 10th.

NCWC will then head back on the road for 3 consecutive road games from Oct. 14 through Oct. 20 to face Methodist, Pfeiffer and Johnson & Wales.

Wesleyan will finish out their schedule hosting rival Meredith College on Senior Day October 24.

The first round of the conference tournament will then begin on Oct. 28.
