GREENSBORO, N.C. - The 3rd seeded NC Wesleyan College Women's Soccer team lost 3-2 at #2 seed Greensboro College in the Semifinals of the East Division Tournament Saturday afternoon.

Wesleyan got on the board first with a goal from senior forward Cydney Nichols off an assist from all-division second team junior forward Khristel Thompson in the 44th minute.

Greensboro would then score 3 consecutive goals in the second half in a span of 23 minutes to go up 3-1. The Lady Bishops would then trim their deficit to one with a goal from Kailey Munro off an assist from Nichols in the 78th minute.

Unfortunately, the women would fall short as they could not find the tying goal in the final few minutes. The goals were Nichols and Munro's firsts of the year.

Senior second team all-division goalkeeper Alicia Jacobs would make 2 saves on 5 shots.

The Lady Bishops finish their season 3-3-2 and in third place in the East Division.
