Both Soccer Programs Earn United Soccer Coaches Association Team Academic Awards

The United Soccer Coaches organization recently released its 2022-23 Team Academic Award recipients. Both N.C. Wesleyan men's and women's programs earned this prestigious honor continuing a history of academic excellence.

A total of 801 soccer teams (307 men, 494 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2022-23 academic year. Of that total, NCWU was one of 179 schools that had both their men's and women's programs recognized.

United Soccer Coaches annually celebrates the academic achievements of teams whose student-athletes collectively demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their studies over the course of a full academic year.
