Rocky Mount, N.C. - The N.C. Wesleyan football program is pleased to announce that senior wide receiver Malik Adams has been named to D3Football.com's preseason All-America team. This is the first such honor for Adams, who enters his senior season as one of the most prolific receivers in Battling Bishop history.
The reigning USA South Offensive Player of the Year, Adams led the conference in nearly every receiving category last season, including a league-leading 72 catches, 1,309 yards, 130.9 yards per game, 19 touchdowns, and 114 points scored. The 19 receiving TDs also led the nation and established a new USA South single-season record, giving Adams a conference-best 36 career touchdown catches heading into this fall.
