In the absence of competition in the fall semester, the USA South Athletic Conference will continue selecting athletes of the week. The selections, however, will not be based on current competition but instead the nominees will be those who earned an athlete of the week honor in a particular category within that current week over the past decade. On to the Week 10 Decade Athletes of the Week...

This week, NC Wesleyan had two defensive winners in All-American linebacker Antonio Johnson from last year and defensive back Travonne Marshall from 2013. It is also worth mentioning that Wesleyan also had three other offensive players nominated that won during this week in 2015 (Minondo), 2016 (Gillis), and 2019, which was current senior RB Jeff Black.
