Football To Postpone Game Saturday, Move to Sunday to Honor Teammate

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. - NC Wesleyan College Director of Athletics Aaron Denton, and head football coach Jeff Filkovski have postponed Saturday's season-opening football game vs. Emory and Henry to Sunday, September 5.  This decision was made due to the sudden passing of sophomore football player, Matthew Clemmons, Thursday morning.

In honor of Clemmons, the team has asked to dedicate Sunday's game to their former teammate. Kickoff is at noon at the Vernon T. Bradley, Jr. Football Complex.
