Greenwood, Indiana - The College Sports Communicators (CSC), formerly known as COSIDA, have released their Academic All-District teams and women's basketball guard Nadia Simmons earned recognition.
The 2022-23 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Basketball teams, selected by the CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their tremendous accomplishments on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-American program also separately recognizes basketball honorees in four separate divisions (NCAA DI, NCAA DII, NCAA DIII, NAIA).
Simmons earned Academic All-District honors for the first time in her career and currently leads the women's basketball team in points (12.2), second in FG% (48.5), and third in rebounds per game with (5.4).
Academic All-District honorees chosen to the CSC Academic All-American Ballot (First, Second, Third) teams will be announced in mid-March.
