USA South Releases Academic All-Conference Team
June 01, 2012The USA South Athletic Conference has released its 2011-2012 Academic All-Conference Team, and North Carolina Wesleyan is pleased to announce that 58 Battling Bishops have garnered recognition. -
Athletics Hosts 47th Annual Awards Ceremony
April 17, 2012The North Carolina Wesleyan Department of Athletics hosted its 47th Annual Awards Ceremony on Monday, April 16th, in the Garner Lobby of the Dunn Center. Coaches, staff and student-athletes came together to celebrate the accomplishments of both individuals and teams from the 2011-2012 season. Among those athletes and teams, NCWC boasted 50 USA South All-Conference selections, three USA South Championships, two Players of the Year, one Coach of the Year and one NCAA tournament berth. Highlighting the night’s winners were the honors given for the Male and Female Student-Athlete of the Year, along with the Male and Female Athlete of the Year.

NCWC Wraps up Season at USAS Championships
April 15, 2012North Carolina Wesleyan's golf team wrapped up its 2011-12 season over the weekend with a 6th-place showing at the USA South Conference Championships in Burlington. Freshman Lucas Norman once again led his team with rounds of 74, 80 and 77 to finish 13th among the field of 35 golfers.

Wesleyan Golfers Finish 6th at Shipbuilders Memorial
April 10, 2012With two team rounds of 335, North Carolina Weselyan's golf team posted a 6th-place finish at this week's Glenn Heath Shipbuilders Memorial hosted by Newport News Apprentice. Freshman Lucas Norman led the Bishops by carding rounds of 78 and 76 to finish tied for 3rd among the field of 45 golfers.

Norman Paces Wesleyan at Barton Intercollegiate
March 20, 2012Freshman Lucas Norman turned in his second career top-10 finish with a two-over 146 to pace his Battling Bishop golf team at this week's Barton Intercollegiate held at the Wilson Country Club. Norman carded two rounds of 73 to finish tied for 9th-place in the field of 99 golfers.

Bishops Win Don Scalf Invitational on Two-Hole Playoff
March 12, 2012Freshman Stephen Bardswick and sophomore Allen-Michael Wilson secured the 2012 Don Scalf Invitational trophy by winning a two-hole playoff versus Surry on Monday afternoon at the Golf Club of Rocky Mount.

NCWC Golfers Finish 7th at Georgetown Invitational
March 01, 2012North Carolina Wesleyan opened up its spring golf slate on Monday and Tuesday with a 7th-place showing at the Georgetown College Invitational in St. Augustine, Fla. The Bishops were paced by freshman Lucas Norman, who carded rounds of 75 and 77 in his first collegiate action.

October 25, 2011North Carolina Wesleyan wrapped up the fall portion of its golf slate on Monday and Tuesday with a 12th-place finish at the O'Briant-Jensen Memorial hosted by Guilford College.

October 15, 2011The men's golf team of North Carolina Wesleyan competed on Saturday at Chowan University's Fall Classic. The Battling Bishops placed second in the three-team field with a team score of 331.

Wilson's Career-Best 73 Paces Bishops at Louisburg
October 02, 2011North Carolina Wesleyan's golf team competed at Louisburg College's Bullfight Summons on Sunday, October 2nd, finishing in 6th place as a team. Sophomore Allen-Michael Wilson paced the Bishops in the 18-hole event with a career-low round of 73 (+1) to tie for 3rd place among the field of 29 golfers.

Coelho Tops NCWC Golfers at Tom Kinder Memorial
September 19, 2011North Carolina Wesleyan's golf team opened its 2011 fall slate on Sunday at the Tom Kinder Memorial hosted by Bridgewater College. Senior Adam Coelho carded rounds of 74 and 78 to finish at 8-over par.
