The 2013 USA South Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments are set to tip-off in Fayetteville, N.C. Each tournament will feature the league's top eight teams and will be conducted in Fayetteville's Crown Center Arena. The men's tournament will begin on Thursday, February 21, while the women's tournament will kick off on Friday, February 22.

The USA South Athletic Conference has announced a partnership with the Fayetteville, North Carolina Area Convention & Visitors Bureau to host the 2013, 2014 and 2015 USA South Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments. Each tournament will feature the league's top-eight teams and will be conducted over a four-day period in Fayetteville's Crown Center Arena. Additionally, a portion of the tournament ticket sales are designated to assist needy military families.

September 11th is a time for remembering our fallen heroes from New York to Pennsylvania to Washington, D.C. It is also a time to recognize those local heroes that risk their lives daily to insure the safety of our Rocky Mount community. For this reason, the student-athletes of North Carolina Wesleyan annually honor our local policemen and firefighters by distributing season passes for all Battling Bishop sporting events.
Since 1999, North Carolina Wesleyan College has honored 51 former athletes, administrators, teams, coaches and contributors by enshrining them in its Athletics Hall of Fame. These individuals have created a higher standard for Battling Bishop athletics and were selected based on their outstanding accomplishments and/or contributions to the College. This year’s class meets these same standards and will comprise the 14th group of honorees. The North Carolina Wesleyan Department of Athletics is pleased to announce that Misty Carneal of women’s basketball, Jennifer Foreman of women’s soccer and Mark Silletti of baseball have been chosen to comprise its 2012 Hall of Fame class.
